Nice to see everyone there. Good to put faces to the usernames.
Had a wicked day out, best track day I have done so far. Lovely weather meaning nice sticky cut slicks. Polo did well apart from when the gear linkage popped off when lovegroova was passenger and then popped off again which is when I shoved it back onto the trailer!

Great to see everyone today, had a really excellent time - Oulton is a lot of fun and very challenging.
Lee passenger ride was great - the swearing began on the warm up lap, I think there was a degree of surprise when I told him I was taking it easy
Track manners were good, and only a couple of minor red flags. Lovely sunny weather and great instruction as always from Stuart Jones. It was a shame that I had to wait until 2.30pm for it - next time I'll miss the sighting laps and get it booked sooner. Worth pointing out that it was free, so can't moan too much
I've got (I think) some good footage with the phone and OBD2/GPS data which I'll get sorted tomorrow.
Beer and a hot bath now to soothe the aching muscles.
The 111,300 mile S2000 once again took it all in its stride - what a car

Yep it's on the race calendar this season so I have to do it. Today would have been perfect, but sadly the S is still being re-built and just too much going on to get there today
Got some ofther Trackaction dates to put up later though

There will certainly be a next time so you are more than welcome to hop onboard.
Had a few good tussles with cars, the best one was with a Westfield, neck and neck for 5 laps, ended up chatting to him afterwards and found out that he was running 165bhp weighing in at 600kg so pleased that the Polo performed well against it.
I got to sort the gear linkage out so next time i won't be spending an hour underneath the car bodging it back together!

Great day for it wasn't it? Nice to meet you chaps
And special thanks to Simon for showing me what an S2000 can really do, had a fantastic passenger ride. (still quite excited from it)...Those brakes made my face fall off!
Managed a couple of snaps, would have been a lot easier if you'd slowed down..
