There are quite a few threads on helmets, do have a search. You'll see that people use a wide variety from £50 jobs like I use (Takachi TK-30) to those costing hundreds.

You can always hire one (usually about a tenner).

Totally agree. For you guys in an S or any closed canopy, you don't really need to worry that much.

It has gotten to the point where I have started giving helmets away I had that many!

For the price, Motorbike helmets are a lot better value than Motorsport ones.

And if you are willing to buy used, you can get a really decent lid for 50% of new that has been worn a couple of times!
