Haha, I remember having a slight brown trousers moment there

The joke of this was I having tuition at the time, the instructor is saying keep right (I had already seen Robin in my mirrors) so was in the process of doing until that plonker came out of the pits combined with the instructor actually grabbing the steering wheel for a split second & moving me to the right until he clocked the car coming our of the pits & let go of my steering wheel !!

Over the course of a few seconds I had very mixed emotions - I nearly shat myself for almost being the filling in a race car sandwich, had the instructor telling me that the bloke coming out of the pits was in the wrong and shouldn't have done that & me wanting to twat the instructor for grabbing my steering wheel - that hasn't happened since I was 17 making a mistake on one of my first driving lessons

Many of you will remember me saying after coming back in the pits about the numpty instructor grabbing my steering wheel - well that was the exact moment & I didn't realise it had been caught on camera

The pit exit isnt ideal and you do have to buid up some pace to get out, at which point you are on everyone's apex. Blend line is quite short too and the onus has to be with the driver on track, as you have nowhere to go. I had a similar one but no issues

Its not an ideal place to let people pass imo, unless you are past the pont you know nobody is joining the track.

Nice videos Robin. I'd have had kittens seeing that Civic appear in front of me!

Looking forward to more pics and vids

The mystery S2000 owner trying to evade Lee the burglar detective by hiding behind the Simca

Even the red flags couldn't stop Paul he just kept on going round the paddock

The M3 was also the cause of one of the red flags, ouch the rear was non to good as well

Did anyone get a pic of the damage on the M3?

I will be back at oulton once I have sorted out the gearbox - should be a couple of months time.

Got to sort out a fuelling issue before hand though as I had to wind the boost down yesterday as it was running a bit too lean - so more power for the next track day :-)
