S2ki Trackday - Oulton Park - Friday 1st March *
#191
Apparently, I'm 4.9 miles away. Most of the time I can hear all the racing going on, but unlike most people who live a lot closer to tracks, I don't complain! I love it! Excited for tomorrow now. Last years S2ki Oulton track day was my first 'proper' S2ki meet so its a bit of an anniversary for me. See you all tomorrow!

I got a bit lost after dropping my car off at GTSChris' for the cage work and other bits and pieces. Pleasantly enough though I found my self in a villa in the Canaries, next plane home is on Tuesday!
Have a great day!

Just want to say how fantastic today was. Massive thanks to Martin and Paul for giving me passenger rides. It truly is amazing what our cars are capable of! It's been a while since I've been out on a track and its just the best experience. It was good to meet some new people today and I can't wait for the next one!

What a great day!!
This was my first track day since charging the S so I wanted to go out and have some fun but without trying to be the fastest car on the track which is exactly what I did
It was good to meet winfreak, tail happy, highside & flybikeslee & to see MB again.
Winfreak was pleased that he passed me and so did many others but I didn't care, I had fun, the monster didn't miss a beat all day and I went home with it in one piece which is more that can be said for many others.
It was good to see many of the NW crew there today and I can only apologise for the d1ckheads that kept crashing resulting in red flags nearly every time that I went out on track, The only time that I managed to get some laps in without red flags was mid morning when I went out by myself.
Robin was on form right from the start - who else turns up with their race car on a trailer but without the keys to the race car? Then he won the day for free and then went on to put an M3 to shame before his little polo had gearbox trouble
I hope that Ray, Alex & Graham enjoyed their passenger rides even though we only managed to get a few laps in each time and apologies to Jon 'it's my birthday' MSC for not getting a ride - next time
Great pics Dan - are there more?
