S2ki Trackday - Oulton Park - Friday 1st March *

Mark, it will be the full International Circuit.
WF, I don't think there is any such thing as good or bad circuits for beginners, just good and bad beginners .
Keep your head about you, build up at your own pace and get some instruction would be my advice if you do fancy it.

Win, it's a really nice but technical circuit. Risk wise prob the same as Rockingham, maybe better. There's only 1 corner which can potentially go bad, which is Lodge, particularly in the wet. Comparable to the wall at Rockingham in some ways. The rest has good run off.
I'd say you'd really enjoy it.

Well This track is certainly a track for intermediates. Because like Trackaction-online has mentioned, Druids is a funny corner to take and there has been many incidents in the past. I think Angelesy Ty Gros is a great circuit for beginners in my opinion. The corners are learner friendly and you don't have to be precise like Oulton Park. Both great circuits but I reckon you could push a little harder in Angelesy :-)

My first track day was at Oulton Park and loved it - as people have said just take it at your own pace! I did benefit from having done driver training at Mira and Bruntingthorpe for work purposes (to drive prototype cars) so I would certainly advise beginners to take up the tuition which is free!!

I'm pretty sure WF has done a few days round Bedford, so Oulton will be fine.
WF - get yourself booked up (do have a look at last year's thread for my vids - they'll give you a good idea of what's involved.)
