I've bought a space from someone (on the trackaction forum, not here) who has cancelled, so I'll be coming!

An excellent day. Well run by the Trackaction-online team and the staff at oulton Park. There were a lot of red flags: 6 before lunch, due to people spinning off and needing to be recovered by truck. |According to a friend of mine who saw the incident log, there had been 26 cars spin/off by the lunch break. But the stoppage time was minimal on each occasion when the session was red flagged. It was a great day to leaarn more about car control in difficult conditions. Very slippery round Druids! Especially after somone dropped oil on the inside line. I shared a garage with Moggy, and his mate turned out to know my brother. Small world! Thanks to Moggy for taking me out in his E30 325i. Very exciting! Disappointing that there were no other S2000s out to play. For those of you who enjoy trackdays, this is the second one I've done now with Trackaction-online and I recommend them to you....
Their prices are decent, you get free instruction if you want it, and the organisation is friendly and efficient. Now, thinking about whether to get some coilovers for next year......

I'd agree with that. Was quite frustrating but it just shows how difficult Oulton was.

I'm hoping that yesterday knocked some time off my lap times as I had a fair bit of positive instruction. A couple of general pointers and some specific Oulton pointers.

The car in the wet is a different kettle and it is only the 2nd real time we have done a wet track day iirc, but for the 4 laps of dry line it really made me fully appreciate how far we have come on with the car.

Roll on 5 Dec.

Yep bring on the 5th
Sounds like a good day out albeit wet and tricky. Mind you our rears tyres must be shot? They have lasted well though, like wise the rear pads they must have been on all year.

I bumped in to the guy with the orange Ginetta who lost it on the oil @ Druids and put it in the wall.
He was inspecting the damage in the Shell station as I filled up on my way through.
He was gutted.
He did say the Blue S2000 owner could drive though

He probably meant my brother! We were glad to keep the car on the tarmac.

Me and you did.

My co-driver didn't - useless

Rear brake pads need sorting before 5 Dec. Lee

Is that what he told you?

He span right in front of us in the morning at Druids (we watched him slowly bounce of the inside barriers) and I think he span again later on.

Druids was really hairy after the oil spillage. There was an oil line all the way into and through Old Hall.
