Good job I'm in the BatCat, my M3 needs some work before going on track

Nothing serious I hope Mark (I've been looking at a M3s recently!).

ball joint got play on nsf, about 600 to remedy. Probably get it done next week. It's ok to drive, but I certainly don't want to stress the car overly.

It IS a fantastic car though. 165 is so easily done

This has really crept up on me and I'm not at all prepared...

Anyway, I'll be there sometime on Saturday night (no idea when I'll be able to get away). Rich, taken a note of your mobile and the pub details for Saturday night in case I can get along for a sharpner!

See you all tomorrow night!

A quick YouTube search yielded this for the International circuit, I think that's the layout for Sunday:

Quick question...I think I'm starting to get the infamous clicking noise from the rear on low speed take off and reverse. Search for this suggests replacement hub nuts...am I going to be OK tracking the car if my hub nuts do indeed have the problem....

Lower, I think you diy'ed your nuts so prepare to be quizzed on Sunday

Jon, its a 10 minute job if you had the nuts, torque wrench and socket.

If they've only just started clicking then you'll be fine tracking the car and you'll do no damage as long as they're not actually loose and i can check that for you very easily.

On my old car they clicked for about 18 months (in my ownership. they'd probably been doing it since new) and 3 trackdays before i got round to changing them.
