Chaps, I stayed at the cottage last winter and if it's at all practical I'd recommend it.

If it's the same place I stayed in it's superb value for money and comparable to piling back the chalet after a days skiing (perhaps with not quite as much beer if you're driving the next day).

The place I stayed in wasn't really a cottage as such, it was more like a small estate with a few very nice ski-chalet like places.

There were a combination of room types and there weren't many people there so I ended up with a four poster bed, master bedroom type affair to myself but I don't think there will be any guarantee of getting your own room unfortunately.

I suppose it all depends on numbers.
