Plus I don't trust forecasts until a few days before

Bloody weather - I hate it! Even in summer it's cold and damp
And of course not having a roof at all....!
Dave, Yellowstuff are good and they should stand up to a wedge of abuse. If you can, remove your splash shields as this will help prevent fade.
