S2Ki Trackday - Anglesey Sat 18th June 2011
Ok a bit early, but i'd like to make this a big S2ki trackday and fill it up!
Here's the deal...
The price is £199 and is now up on the BaT site.

To book, click on the link above, go to the Anglesey date on the 18th June and click Book!
Due to a bit of a clash we will indeed be sharing with PistonHeads, so apologies for that, but I don't think we would ever get the full numbers to secure the whole track so would always be sharing with someone! I've been assured there's no issue there. The usual zero tolerance will be applied to everyone anyway.
Track format wise has to be subject to numbers on the day. If it's less than 55 total cars then we can do the Coastal and it's likely that will happen. It's possible those numbers won't be reached, and if the numbers drop after lunch there's a good chance we can do the Coastal anyway.
We have priority booking until the end of this month so the more of us who book the better!
There is also a sweetner of buy one get one free tuition, which is a kind offer from BaT. Just add one tuition to your basket and get a second one free on the day at a time of your choice
So, get booking!
Onto the details...
The track itself is one which the club has been to before.
The Anglesey circuit is the 5th Gear track, and has a real mix of interesting corners but with plenty of run off and is therefore entirely suitable for you first trackday or an interesting circuit for the trackday regulars.

Noise limit should be the normal be 105dB so should be fine for even the louder S2k's.
I'd like to encourage anyone who's thinking of attending a track day, but hasn't yet done one to come along. If you've any questions about what a day entails or any preperation you need to do to your car, feel free to ask away on this thread or book and and ask for some guidance on the day. There will be plenty of experienced trackdayer's on the day willing to pass on the benefit of our experience, and we welcome newbies. We know that once you've done your first day, you'll be hooked!
The downside of Anglesey is its location. Its located on the Welsh island of Anglesey (unsuprisingly ) in north wales so isn't as central as the usual venues. Click on this link for details on how to find the circuit.
The day will again be organised through Bookatrack who have organised a number of trackdays for S2Ki, all of which have been very safe and very enjoyable days. Bookatrack are certainly one of the best trackday companies for organisation and driving discipline on the day. The marshalling is always good, and they keep a good eye on the drivers out on track. Any dangerous or aggressive driving is dealt with quickly, as are drivers who overtake without consent into corners etc.
If you are interested, please post your name below.
PS - I will also hopefully sort a Donny one in August to keep the North / South balance. Will also sort one or two with Trackaction and there will be the usual Spa BaT trip

Cottages didn't work last time because of the numbers and the necessity to share rooms. We ended up staying at the Travelodge in Bangor. Booking nice and early meant it was cheap and with everyone staying in the same place the social side of things worked out well too.
Which circuit is Jonny proposing?
PS- MB, some of the introductory narrative seems very familiar to me. Can't work out why
