Well I'm back! no pics though. Great meet I lilke the way SLOW works and it's a nice way to have a meet, little bit of driving and alot of beer .
Not sure who's going to have the baby first, Mrs Kiteland or me .
Well done to those leading, great to meet some of our US cousins who were absolutely top blokes, proper petrolheads too! Great to meet some new people and old faithfuls as well ... looking forward to next years SLOW meet (there might be a highland SLOW meet if there's not a NE one).
Ian, you missed a great time at least I managed not to embarrass myself horribly this time!

Great pics everyone. We're just back after picking up the dogs
We'll get some pics up once we've had a look through them.
Gary - can you send me a hi-res version of my car outside Bowes please for my desktop

Just sorting through my pics now. I only got 247.
Was an excellent meet. Thanks Neil for organising it and all that.
Peter, that photo of me is hideous.

Cracking pics! I'll start editing the video this week and hopefully have it done by the weekend. A big big thanks to Neil & Amanda (plus Colin & Becky) for organising a brilliant 2 days, the roads and scenery were superb and the company was exceptional
Right... off to unpack and collapse on the sofa!

Home a couple of hours ago but got stuck in the recording of todays BTCC and lost track of time . Had a really good weekend, "slow"may be the way forward , nice to meet all you lovely people, thanks to the organisers, and to the "Texans" for the goodies.
I hear the pub calling now though, so sorry the piccies will have to wait for now.

This is the fifth big meet we've organised and yet again it's been a superb weekend.
There were lots of new faces this time, but the company was as good as always. A shame to miss a few of the usual suspects, but to be honest more cars would have made the meet more difficult.
I should probably mention, that although I seem to be the organising force for this meet, Colin and Beccy were equally involved. They organised Bowes museum and the first half of the day 1 route, and we all went out a couple of times doing recces.
Thanks also to Neil and Dianne for leading this afternoon and leading us up to the front door of Chillingham castle.
And thanks to everyone who came along and made this a great meet.
See you all next time (Danny a Highland slow meet would be a great idea )
(BTW For those of you that refused to go roof down in the rain - we have pictures and will name and shame later )
