Jack,
Glad to hear it, that was a most impressive "dab of oppo" on that roundabout :burnrbr:
Great to see so many S2000s at the Cafe, a great turnout from the Midlands gang too.
Good to see a good few new faces, as well as some "long lost" regulars.
Next one is 30th September, for those not at Megameet.

Jack,
I looked through some different manifolds and the Spoon manifold does have some machining done on the flange between the primaries. Spoon Manifolds quite often have a spoon badge tacked onto the 3rd primary but I've seen some pictures on here of Spoon manifolds that don't have that badge, perhaps earlier ones don't or perhaps they fall off. It's tricky to tell which is which without being able to see how the primaries join and how long they are, does yours have machined edge around the flange like these two pictures of Spoon manifolds?
Toda and ASM also machine out that areas but if it was a TODA or ASM then it would have their name on the flange near to upper bolt on cylinder 1 and I didn't see anything there on yours.

It wouldn't surprise me that considering its a old one with a spoon brace and spoon ECU that it probably has a spoon manifold too!
Loved that VGS steering by the way! Read about them but not realised quite how 'quick' that rack is!! Nice to meet you too, and everyone else I hadn't met before!
Good run down with the midlands boys. Wet roads caused a few hairy moments, And caboose's obsession with attracting all the hedgerow wildlife to his front bumper was rather amusing!! ;-). Well, that and my front wheel arch liner having arguments with my tyre! All in all a good morning!'

Really enjoyed having five us going down to SS from the midlands today. We'll just have to find roads that that are billiard table smooth so that Simon doesn't have too many bits falling of his car, and also roads arrow straight to discourage Graeme from too much fishtailing on his 'new' brown seats.

Thanks for today everyone, it was good to see 15 of us at the cafe. Thanks to Keith for a good midlands run and picking some great roads and hopefully next time they can be straight, smooth and dry
Once home I realised that from start to finish I nearly hit:-
Squirrel, rabbit, pheasant, cyclist and avoided being arse end up in a ditch! So far I've cleaned my underwear but not my car yet, that'll be my bank holiday job I guess and even though it was a convoy I still managed to get LOST! Thanks for waiting though fellas.
thanks again everyone.

Ninebolts, thanks for looking up the manifolds for me. Yes mine has exactly the same machined bits as in that first picture. Was that a spoon manifold?

Jack,
They are both pics of a Spoon Manifold, the first is a shiny new one that shows the badge on primary 3 near the flange. The second is a picture of a manifold from a US for sale thread, Looks like that one does not have the badge which could mean it never did or it fell off.
