Meant to post lovegroova to the effect that I would not be attending this month's run as my S had a starring role elsewhere. Afraid I'm going nowhere now. Came back from a trip to the seaside on a tilt and slide (not a flatbed ) There were compensations. Got to share the cab with the personable driver/fireman and his SatNav took us on a magic mystery tour.

Have fun everyone.

Lovely run today, with the select band of four of us.

Storm, sorry about my tyre noise, can't do much about it I'm afraid, good to meet Wendy and glad she squealed on her first experience of "The Dip"

MQ and Suzybee were missed (Saz wasn't as she obviously no longer cares )
MQ, hope it's nothing too serious, any early prognosis?

Huge respect to the driver of the lorry who let us all out in front of him - a rare occurrence of someone actually paying attention when driving!

Nice to know that I was missed!!! I dare say I could have come, but I am going to Lincolnshire in a minute so I didn't want to be up too early this morning!!!

Wow - I missed the big event of the lorry letting you all out! Doh!

Glad you had a good run.

Thanks mates for your concern about my car, touched that I was missed.

Little things mean a lot. It wasn't my lovely reliable S that failed me but the aftermarket alarm that Honda fitted. A connection in the circuit board in the key fob failed. The AA man spent hours trying everything to get me going, including soldering the break, to no avail. Trouble is he has disconnected so much stuff attempting to bypass the immobiliser that my spare key fob won't work either. Going to have to get an auto electrician in.

Gorgeous morning, perfect S weather, shame, I'll be putting the van through its paces.
