Update - skittles is booked !!!!
We're going to the Ship in Oldbury on Severn, which I think was the site of the original Bristol S2K Skittles Meet (which I didn't go to !).
They'll do a buffet for us on the night - I'm going to stop by and pick up a menu and then post the details on here.
They'll need final numbers a few days before, so get posting if you're coming, and avoid being harrassed by HB

Hi,
Sorry I can't make this one I'm afraid.
Christmas Party time already taking its toll, so many parties so little time! And I would have loved to play skittles again.
Have a good time and a Merry Christmas.........see you in the New Year
Adrian

Helen's gonna come; if she says "no", I'll tie her to the boot.
Last week she was quite ill with some kind of flu and I had to resort to carrying her downstairs to make my breakfast so she knows what to expect
I'll only allow her not to come if her mother deteriorates but she is improving so I can not see that as a problem.
I am also very aware Helen does not know the address of this website

More stuff.
Link to the pub is here:
http://www.britishpubguide.com/cgi-bin/pub...cestershire:785
Buffet menu wise, we have 2 choices - £5.50 a head or £7.50 a head.
£5.50 contains:
Selection of filled rolls
Pizza
Cheese tomato and onion quiche
Cocktail sausages
Sausage rolls
Crisps
£7.50 contains:
Selection of filled rolls
Cheese tomato and onion quiche
Bacon and onion quiche
Greek salad
Mixed leaf salad
Tomato and onion salad
Cucumber with dill
Coleslaw
Potato and onion salad
Roasted new pots in garlic and rosemary
Cold meat platter
For the money, the £7.50 option looks like good value, but I'm happy to be swayed by public opinion.
Can we please try to get final numbers by Monday December 10, so I can let the pub know the catering details.
Happy weekend, everybody !
