Sounds good to me Gav, it's quite obvious that organising things is not my strong point
..you remember the closed pub on the last meet! Thought i'd give the huntsman a ring to be sure, hence the 12pm opening discovered....

Is the plan for 2-3 hrs driving/stopping for drinks etc then back to the Huntsman? There are some good roads heading out to Strines/Ladybower and some great views/opportunities for photos, trust me, u'll be amazed
Assuming we head off around 11ish, I can't see us eating (those that want too) any later then 3:30 - 4ish. Therefore theres about 4.5 hours to fill which as a good rule of thumb should be based on 50/50 driving/stops. Probably means keeping the mileage below about 80m? (For reference the NW Dales meet was 70miles). Still best to not have too rigourous a shedule, lets go with the flow on the day. I think the weather will dictate events to a great extent. I can't see long stops on hill tops if we are all sheltering in our own cars!

Well not sure if any other locals know some routes but i'll have a look at some potential places to visit, not that sure around Holmfirth but loads of good roads heading back towards Sheffield but like you say, can go with the flow on the day.. and yeah, lets hope for some..

I might turn up, now I think about it. It's not too far to travel, so we'll see.
