Moving to Preston (Cottam) next week with a new job and new (well new to me s2k)
Work allowing I'll try and come along for the next meet. Always good to meet fellow petrolheads - might give me some ideas of what to do with the 's. Previous cars don't stay standard for long!
(actually I remember seeing that Pub and thinking "What an odd name!" is about two minutes from the new gaff)

Simon - if the PW's only two minutes from where you're moving, you'll be about one minute from where I'm located. You won't see my S around much as it spends by far the majority of its time in Scotland (seriously ) I expect you'll see me around in this though:
I suspect I won't have trouble spotting your yellow S

Oh dear - this is beginning to get complicated
I think we need to carry on with our third Monday evening meets, so that people can plan ahead each month with certainty that we'll be having our usual get together. Since Mikey has made the effort to recce for a venue, I'll post a new thread for the August 3rd-Monday night meet (i.e. on Monday 20th August) here: http://www.alvanleyarms.co.uk/
Of course that doesn't preclude a NW Sunday lunch meet, which is something I've been thinking we should do for a while
I can't make a Sunday meet now until 26 August though
:EDIT: August meet thread posted HERE
