Default Milton Keynes Pub Meet - 21st of October 2010

Following on from this months meet, for my sins I've volunteered to look after things whilst Ian is busy.

Thank you to everyone who turned up, it was great to see some familiar and some new faces. If we get more people coming from a little further afield, we can always start things a bit earlier to give everyone more time.

We'll keep it at the Broughton Hotel for now, the staff didn't give us any grief about moving tables around, the food delivery was quick and from what I saw, everyone seemed to enjoy it. With the 2 meals for 8 pounds offer, even the greediest can fill up without spending a fortune.

We will be asked to move back from the Restaurant area to the bar at about 10pm but they're friendly about it.

The address is below and it's easy to find, just off J14 of the M1 for those of you come from a bit further afield - no need to worry about getting lost in the maze of Milton Keynes.

Nice big car park, a nice area of Milton Keynes so no problems with missing aerials and there's no shops to speak of nearby so no riff raff loitering about

So it's from 7.30pm until whenever you've had enough of whatever you've had enough of

1. Fester ( me)
2. AquilaEagle - maybe
3. Squeak - maybe
4. Spykee
5. TommyS2000 - searching for pert buttocks
6. Senninha & Shmooo
7. Wineboar and Essogirl

I have a nasty idea they'd like to send me out there to do some work in Shanghai - so far i've managed to resist international travel, long may that continue.

People who don't travel for work have NO idea about just how much of a holiday it isn't.

We'll get you over here one of these meets - if you need to abandon the Box somewhere you already know it fits on the drive with room to spare

Nope its a good backroad trek form yours, nice on a light summer evening, less fun on a dark winters night.
