Last October's inaugural Midlands mini-meet was a good night and was enjoyed by all. The only downside was me mangling my car on the way home after an incident involving a motorway slip road, heavy rain, spilt diesel, a 180 degree spin and an unfortunately-placed armco........
So, leaving aside the latter bits, I thought it might be a good idea to see whether there is any interest in another, not least since we seem to have acquired a few new Midlands members over the past couple of months.
I haven't at this stage got a particular time or venue in mind. Experience last time suggested that it was easier (within reason) to try to find a date that suited most, and to fix the venue according to where people are coming from, since "the Midlands" takes in a pretty broad expanse of the country. That said, I was assuming that a weekend would be best, and was thinking of somewhere in the south Midlands - perhaps a country pub somewhere in north Warwickshire. That's very much open to change though if it looks like the majority care coming from further north.
Who's in then? If you fancy coming along, just stick your name into a rolling list, and cut and paste the existing list to keep it up to date. Prospective owners and those waiting delivery are just as welcome as owners! Once we've got a provisional list, we'll look to sort out a date.

I have my kids every other weekend, so sods law it will clash - but fingers crossed.
We're in Redditch so the south would be better, but if the weather's nice then I don't care!
