The Midlands is unfortunately still too far away for us scots who have not expatriated ourselves like StevenM - sadly I doubt any of us will be able to make it.

Although I'll aim to go to the next SM that's held in the North of England, I prefer smaller meets anyway - for me a day long blast on quiet roads in the company of several other S's is the best bit of meets.

I'm up for that in principle.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of posts to keep me posted

What happened to the idea of the Isle of Man Meet, is that not a good contender for a Super or Mega meet.... I mean no speed limits I'm well up for that, and a good opportunity to see the island and 'test' my car

I'll be there Ade.
I've missed far too many meets as it is.

I would welcome the organisation of a 'large' get together sometime in the Autumn next year - I regretably cant justify taking the necessary holiday to do SM5 (and I had already decided that I would 'do' Le Mans next year) - but it would be great to have a SM type thingy to look forwards to next year.

In terms of location / venue, how do folks feel about this meet returning to the spiritual home of SM - Shrewsbury and mid Wales???

I voted with reservations.

I like the idea of a large meet and would be there if i can make the dates ( due to working shifts ).

I would do the drive first then the track day second, nothing worse than doing a long drive when not fully up to it, and that many cars would definately attract the unwanted attention of the old bill.

Just my opion thou

I voted 'go for it' I agree with a lot of the comments about not being able to get to SM5, therefore it would good to do something more local
