Always this on the 7th August for anyone interested.

http://type-r-owners.co.uk/forums/sh...-7-Aug-2011***

For those who don't know, Hendy Honda is the new dealership name for the old Alan Day Honda. ADH were retailers of Spoon products, and this is where Hendy Performance come in, offering tuning parts and fittings of Spoon products from a Honda dealership.

Back in 2006, ADH held an Open day at their dealership in Portsmouth (clicky), and Hendy are doing the same on the 7th August. The location will be Janspeed in Salisbury, Wiltshire. They have a dyno there and it will be available for use on the day (will need to be booked, fee's to follow). In addition to Hendy having a stand, the dyno and of course lots of TROers turning up, there will be the following:

James Kaye - BTCC Touring Car
Steven Hendy
Dennis Moody - WRC Rally Technician
Andy Scott - BTCC Technician
TGM Race car and possibly Tom will be in attendance

the rain's been on and off in Bristol today, i think its been similar in Somerset, although reports say its going to be raining all afternoon/early evening. what's the general feeling about later? it will be very difficult to have a fun drive if the roads are as waterlogged as they were on the weekend around cheddar!

Im in wells, roads are half and half round town. However could be wetter up on the top though as it's generally a different weather system.

I'm up for it but don't mind either way.

Okay I'll be at the Bear and Swan pub for 7 providing I don't get lost.

Perhaps if weather uncertain, then we kill half hour with drink first then go for drive (some recompense for using their car park!!). Alternatively if weather is still bad, stay longer and eat and chat there.

James

p.s. pub postcode is BS40 8SL
