Date: Sunday 18th April 2004 at 11am-12pm.
Starting Point: Red Lion in Bobbington, Shropshire (www.redlioninn.co.uk )
Middle Point: Welsh Border
End Point: Bridgnorth, Shropshire
This is a mixed informal meet for cars of all makes & models. The route will be handed out on the day and is approximately 100 miles long (about 3.5 hours drive) with optional quick pub lunch to start and a stiff drink to finish. We aim to start the drive at 12:45/1pm. Some of the S2Kers would have driven this route, organised by Scooby last Autumn - all credit goes to Scooby for the excellent route & map.
The drive is optional as this is firstly a chance for owners to show off their cars. Currently, all of the cars below are coming on the drive. Any cars are welcome to arrive on the day, but if you don't let us know, we won't know to wait for you!
This is a great opportunity to drive alongside some high powered sportscars and for them to see what your car is made of !
Cars attending are:
provisional Ferrari 360 Modena x 1
provisional Ferrari 355 Spider x 1
Honda S2000 (OliverC & Scooby) x 2
Vauxhall VX2200 x 3
Subaru Impreza WRX x 1
MINI Cooper S Works x 2
MINI Cooper S x 4 (Naughty Magpie)
MINI Cooper x 3
MINI Convertible? x 1
Porsche Boxster x 1
MG TF x 1
Mazda MX5 x 2
provisional Caterham x 2

Hi Aquila Eagle,
I'm a lurker. Saw you at the Midlands Meet on 18th October 03 - I was riding with OliverC.
Yeeessss, Mini Ones - should be fun....I've driven with these Ones before and the girls that are coming will give you a run for your money - honestly! They're a bit mad. Even with a little 1.6 against your 220bhp+ gorgeous cars.
As it says in my profile, I'm an S2Ker without the S2K, but I do have a sexy little black Cooper S.

We're up to 21 cars so far. The end pub stop may change subject to us finding somewhere decent for 30 cars.
There are currently three cars that are coming subject to weather conditions (Westfields..etc) - otherwise they'd like to ride along with someone. Any takers? - Probably gonna be me as I've got 3 spare seats compared with everyone elses 1.....oh well. Just hope that they're anorexic otherwise I'm going to be tailing even the Mini Ones! Aargh!

Tempting, as it's not all that far from me, and people said how good the route was on Scooby's Midlands Meet last year.
But I suspect I'll have a problem convincing my other half to do two all-day meets in two weekends.
