It's Baltic on saturday in the borders, but seems to be warming up nicely on sunday - looks like the scenic route might be on after all

Weather forecast for tomorrow.

bear in mind that it was completely wrong for today

Cloud spreading southeastwards in the morning followed by rain in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 7 deg C (45 deg F).

Do I risk bashing through some twisties in the Borders with the potential for ice (and an entry onto CC's list), or take the boring old A68?

The english side is good, but I don't care much for the scottish side, you keep having to drive through towns and overtake tractors etc - I could always go down the A701 then turn off to Langholm and come east, north of Carlisle.
