Just received news from my dealer that, all being well, my 04 should be available for collection on 20 December

It seems like ages since we were last able to get to one so, weather permitting, Jenny and I may well get along to this meet - although if I've not done the requisite 600 miles by then, you'll understand if I take things at my own pace and don't try and keep up with you free-to-VTEC loons!

Reckon you'll have all your 'bits' refitted from your car by then? or will it be stock?

600 miles between the 20th and the 28th? Should be attainable, even with 1 day of eating and 1 day of recovering in the middle

Rob, it gets to the dealer on 17 Dec, give or take a couple of days either side, apparently. The dealer is happy that they can get the bits transferred by 20 Dec - it's maybe three hours to transfer the HKS and refit the old stock exhaust, and then do likewise for the PRM.

We're going up to Jenny's family in Manchester for Boxing Day, so that's 250 of the 600 miles accounted for already!

So you're going to go straight to the HKS? not tempted by the new stock exhaust - just to see what it sounds like... hmm, wonder if your 2004 Stock Exhaust will make it onto the FS board on the 21st Dec

I'm tempted, yes. But then it's just more hassle having to lug the HKS back to the dealer from my parents' house 30 miles away (where my spare is stored) at a later date.

If I do put the HKS on, I won't be flogging the 04 exhaust - as I understand it, it's only the cans which are different anyway.
