Probably about time we got another South Manchester meet organised.

We could meet in the same location as normal, The Boddington Arms in Wilmslow

But then we could go for something to eat somewhere different. Perhaps The Oakwood in Alderley Edge, 5 minutes away. Really good food sensibly priced. The Oakwood

If I suggest a few dates we can then go with the majority so how about:

All of those dates look do-able for Jenny and me, as things stand - so you can put us down as possibles for the time being pending confirmation of date and what my diary does towards month end.

The place in Alderley Edge looks nice - I'm certainly all in favour of trying somewhere new. (Not that there was anything wrong with the existing regular haunt though).

 

May be away on business the first last week in January! But interested!

(Jaq - the new Turner towers is only 20 mins from Wilmslow - and even less if we end up in the place in Alderley Edge - so you could always combine a trip south of the city to the meet with a visit to the new pad, then hop on the M6 back to your barren wastelands north of the city )
