Thanks for the PM Matt. I like the idea of a rear sweeper picking up lost folk and adding which lane to be in would help with the directions I'll make sure I add those for the next one

I also need to work on the TomTom files a bit more. It was odd as at one point it told me to suddenly turn round That didn't happen on the dry run

J, it does this when it doesn't quite hit the point in the itinerary, it's random. PITA!

Jamie, I used a bit of software called ITNConv to convert them to garmin gpx files. It has a map feature based around google maps so you can plan the routes by dropping in way points, easier than doing the same on the sat nav itself. I then imported and made the sat nav find its way. worked well on the first and second routes, but missed out a bit of the 3rd.

Good and free bit of software and works with most devices.
