All of the cameras that I saw last Friday night in the tunnels were normal gatso's. Some are the traditional ones, but most are the smaller digital ones the authorises seem very fond of nowadays...
I don't believe there are any average speed cameras in any of the tunnels, but there are some down embankment so watch out.
Just another update - The Google Earth and TomTom files I mentioned in my PM are now available to download in zip format.
m1bjr - If I hear of anyone travelling down from your neck of the woods I'll point them in your direction.
