Send the details out the afternoon before.

I have tomtom and gps routes planned out, as well as text directions for each waypoint, and even a video of the route.

We used to tkae a laptop, and peopel woudl only get directions when they turned up bunged onto there sat nav.

If peopel only know the starting location then everyone has to meet up, and unwanted guests can be gently persuaded to leave with a breaker bar 9 joke )

then everyone gets the plan, and its follow the leader from there

Only people with advanced knowledge should be.

would be easier and better for the route to be sent out the day b4, as if you have to download it to your sat nav at the time, it will take for ever doing everyones, also if anyone is late the can catch up or join somewhere else on the route as things do happen

so in conclusion a bad idea to do it on the nite
