Thanks Matt for your time and expertise, it was fantastic to meet some more s2000 owners and learn new things.

You're welcome regarding the centre console - we got there in the end despite the heat!

Crap shot, tried to get as many cars in as poss
When we saw you take pictures we did comment about untidy we were with our cars all over the place. But you managed to capture all that were left at that time. I think only Jammer had left by then and his car would have been out of shot anyway. Well done.

Matt a huge thanks from me for a great day out. Was really interested to learn loads of new stuff about the car and you're a great teacher. Also a big thumbs up to Julian for providing us with a brand spanking new garage to play in and for having just about everything we needed to help out with. As he's starting out on a new venture of an MX5 specialist garage, I hope everyone does they're bit and puts in a good word to anyone out there.

But especially from me a huge thanks to Jamie (Jammer2209) for helping do my centre console. What an absolute pig of a job to do. I think I'd have not believed it was possible if he hadn't done it before. Working in the confines of the back of the S2k, squeezed in beneath the rear screen, under the baking sun and requiring the suppleness of a Russian gymnast just to reach half a dozen screws was ridiculously difficult. So to Jamie my heartfelt thanks.

The drive back on the motorway with the wind deflector in place really made a difference so I'm pleased to say it was well worth the effort. Also having had the TCT done the rattle is hugely reduced, so when I have the service and oil change done next month, the car will really purr.

And lastly, great to see all the other people who were there - a good friendly bunch and great to see some beautifully prepared cars, put me to shame, especially the sparkling engine bays.

Would really love to attend another Technical Day, a great day out.

James

Hi Matt ,

Thank's for another great day and great to meet some fellow owner's .

A new bumper was fitted yesterday thank's to your tuition it went remarkably well ( only 1 bolt left over ).

A pair of front led sidelight's where added whilst the headlight's where accessable and thank's to ADS2K a black aluminium grill was added behind the original grill ( look's fantastic ) .

Now to catch up on some much needed cleaning !!!

Regard's to all. John.

Glad it went ok John, did you seal the headlight all the way round or did you find the hole ?

I do hope you cleaned behind the bumper before you put it all back together again
