I've done the main Le Mans event twice, once in my RX8 and once in my BMW 325 Sport and both times were utterly fantastic, especially with Mad Friday crazyness!
What is the vibe like at a Classic Le Mans event compared to the main event? I've always wondered about it, but always thought that the atmosphere would be a bit low-key in comparison to the main event.

It is definitely more chilled out but also getting more popular (I've done main event twice as well). We went to the Classic for the first time in 2010 and I don't think they were prepared for the number of people. The facilities on the camp site were atrocious. If we go this year it will either be off site or with Speed Chills.
