Regret I will not be able to continue with trying to organise this Meet. Is there anyone who can take it over? Sorry!
Together with an Irish owner I am thinking (very strongly) about a Summer Meet in June / July or August 2006.
We think that due to the need for a ferry from Holyfead to Dublin that it would be better taking the form of a week-end Meet similar to Arran. Departing on Friday by Ferry, drive (160 to 200) around some beautiful roads and countryside of Eire on the Saturday followed by a good meal. Sunday an organised "event" or a free day and travel back on the Ferry either Sunday or Monday.
One can also get across the Irish Sea from numerous other Ferry Ports, even to Belfast and drive down to Dublin. Check out your nearest.
There are some magnificent roads and scenic views, not forgetting the "G" and the great Irish food and hospitality.
Due to the organisation required an early indication of interest would be appreciated together with suggested dates if you have any preference

I'm up for this, we've been talking about going across there on holiday for ages now, as Amanda's aunt lives there and I've never been.
So we'll come across and then stay over, or do it on the way back.

Can't commit when until early next year but the Irish leg of the BTCC was in July this year so if that coincides in 2006, I'll be up for it.
(I'm planning on following the entire BTCC calendar next year )
