Hot Stuff : Mini Meet Idea
Every year I go to the West Dean Red Hot Chilli Fiesta at West Dean Gardens.
This year the Chilli Fiesta takes place on the 9th & 10th August.
Anyone who likes chillis will like this event. There is plenty to see but it isn't quite an all day event.
I'm planning on going on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday is the best day if you want to buy any chilli plants.
Anyone fancy a mini-meet?
Location is near Chichester:

They usually have a selection of hot food, a BBQ etc as well as hundreds of chillis in glass houses, some the size of bananas (and bigger).
The parking used to be in a field so I presume it still is. Is was quite rutted so go slowly!
Inside the gardens, there is a shop which sells plants and seeds. I think there is a cafe right next to the shop so that would be a possible meeting place.
Best to swap mobile numbers so we can find each other. I'll try not to leave mine in the boot of the car this time, like I did at Goodwood.

Those who came to the PRM workshop and BBQ at my place will know that my other passion is gardening with two greenhouses and a polytunnel full of peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and chillies.
I was toying with the idea of going to the tomato festival at West Dean which is being held the weekend previous to this or the chilli festival.
What time are people aiming to turn up at west Dean

Any time from mid morning on suits me. I'll unfortunately be in the Accord as I'll be with the family, but happy to meet up beforehand and arrive in convoy if I can keep up!!!

Easy for me.
I'm on the coast off the A259 but could easily meet on A27 or wherever.
