For those in south central Hampshire area, how about an early breakfast at West Meon, then A272 convoy to motorway & meet itself?

I'd love to, but it's my birthday that Sunday but I'm being taken away for a birthday treat that weekend!
(hopefully Margaret will bring me back afterwards)
You could all sing Happy Birtday to Muttly etc etc.....

Count me in. Can the OP change the title so the year is correct cos I've already passed this twice as I thought it was an old thread. Only stopped in to have a look as I saw lots of recent posting activity. May get more people interested?
Cheers

Most forest roads have a 40mph limit, plus there's the ponies, cows and other wildlife to negotiate, so it's not likely to be like a thrash trip round north Wales or the Dales etc. Sorry.
I'll try to avoid single track roads as much as possible as getting our queue of cars past a terrified pensioner in a dented Rover on a 10ft wide strip of tarmac between 2 hedges isn't a good prospect, but we can take in some of the villages, then finish up with a chance to blow the cobwebs out of the Vtec along the A31 (dual carriageway) to an old air strip for a group photo op. The out of townies will then be in a good place to pick up the motorway home.
Is everyone (anyone) interested and if so, does the above sound OK? Feel free to send in special requests if you know the area and have favourite spots.
Cheers,......
