Herts Meet - Thursday 6th December
#14
Thanks for all the offers guys. It now looks like it will be the following week. I am helping my brother to buy a property in Meldreth (just north of Royston) and we had it in mind to do all the legal stuff on Friday. However, the solicitor is not available until the following week.
I realise this may be the last Thursday night Herts meet this year but if I bring the car down the following week, I will post thoughts for an impromtu gathering if it's suitable.

Fraid I am not going to be able to make it guys, sorry
I have a rather impatient customer who is very getting excited about his getting old Merc finished (he has been waiting a while) so I will have to be spending my Thursday evening completing his car.
Anyway enjoy and I am sure I will see many of you at this weekends Xmas meet

You spotted and posted my Mistress Quickly amphibious vehicle Steven, so I am reciprocating with your cafe. It is in Ware and I'm afraid to say that it is only one step up from a greasy spoon but the guys who run it seem friendly enough.
I hope to be at the meet Thursday night.
Because all the offside panels of my car need attention it is going to be more expensive than I thought to repair so I've decide to do it through the insurance. They use Squires Furneux which is a Saab dealership in WGC. I can go to the Honda recommended Sollis Panelcraft but won't get a courtesy car provided by the insurance company (which doesn't matter as we have three vehicles between the two of us) and the company won't do any running around or chasing up if there are problems. What would you do? I'm worried about the colour match as MCB is metallic paint.
