Hi all. An excellent meet.
Was there any discussion as to where the next Herts Meet will be?
The Red Lion has been nicely refurbished, but it is heavily biased towards dining, and not drinking and chatting, and it was so busy that car parking at 7-30 / 8-00pm was virtually non existent.
By the way, Paul had suggested the Fairway Tavern, which is on Panshanger golf course about two miles from the Red Lion. I looked in there on my way home, and it was almost deserted; only about a dozen customers. It is a beautiful location, and has bags of parking, but, in my opinion, lacks atmosphere. Still, it's a possibility!
