Heard on the radio this morning that the A1 around Welwyn was a bit of a mess, 'gridlocked' !
Gas leak causing the problem, maybe I misheard
Hope it clears by this evening

Yep i will be making a fleeting appearence.
have to see a man about a box then back for diving.

Looked like a big gas leak from the smell. They were digging a large hole when I went by so I don't think they'll be finished in any great hurry!
Probably best to check the AA or RAC for a traffic update later just incase.

Looks like the diversion is only affecting Southbound traffic and the diversion will take you past the pub
Hopefully it will be fixed by then ...... as it also goes past my house
