Dini said that there had been reports of this happening in the area. It turned out to be quite a small stone but has still given him an injury and he wasn't even travelling at great speed. Horrible

Well at least it hasn't damaged his matrimonial prospects.

We have enjoyed listening to the plans for his forthcoming wedding. She's a lucky lady.

Lovely to catch up with friends and meet new ones.

Perfect driving weather this evening. Love it top down under moonshine.

I've had a pebble hit me in the face a couple of times when driving, flicked up by other vehicles, and it sodding stings! It could just as easily be a brick they choose to throw. That kind of recklessness and disregard for others really winds me up.

Sorry, I'm getting wound up now. Grrr!

Hope you all enjoyed the meet anyway.

I've had to replace a windscreen in the past because of a missile from a bridge.

I feel very strongly about it too and hope Mikey reports it, for all the good that will do.

A missile? Fook, that's a bit harsh, stones I can understand some pesky kids throwing, but scuds FFS

Sorry to hear about the stone incident... Thats something I'd absolutely hate happening to me.. I hope you recover soon

-- You know yesterday I was lost for 2 hours! I left my Tomtom at home and I was going up and down the A1000/A1001/A414, joined the A1(M) soo many times I lost count.. just looking for where to get the B197 from... it was a disaster... I asked in tesco, nobody could help.. asked people in the street, no help either.. I lost 5 bars of fuel just looking for the place.. I was the one who directed Ian how to get there by phone but I couldn't find the damn place myself.. haha.. and Ian couldn't explain how to get there either.. I wish to have been there my girlfriend was very unhappy that she eventually stopped talking and went to sleep T___T;;

Anyway, in the end Ian gave me a call and said everyone left so I met him in the South Mims services and took the speakers from him. I just wanted to say Thank you very very very very much Mikey! Next time I see you I will make sure to look after you hopefully I won't get lost next event; I hope to be there or if you're at any other event keep me updated !

Joeh
