The Marshall funny car wasn't able to peel out on the run I saw on Friday so it was a bit disappointing, although it was quite cool being able to go and watch them take it apart after the run.

I know the Cartier Style et Luxe has really gone downhill in recent years.

However your poor attempt to cover up your own embarrassment at your man flesh twitch isn't fooling anyone.

I agree - a dress code should be enforced!

Funny how Friday's are normally the "trash" day - didn't see a topless person the whole day. Lots of Ferrari baseball cap, bumbag and shirt wearing + big camera lens' though

Had an unwanted letter through the door yesterday.

Apparently 5 minutes away from Goodwood i was clocked doing 80mph in a 70 zone. The letter provided no evidence so i requested a copy of the photos so i could have a look. The photos show the radar gun focused on the rear bumper edge and me in traffic slowing down. I cant remember even getting to the speed limit on the journey to Goodwood let alone going over it. I had my dad in the car too and he cant remember anytime when i actually put my foot down. It took me 3 hours just to get to the place! The roads leading to Goodwood were also jammed.

Im very dubious about this speeding ticket but what can you do! I have no evidence to say i wasn't speeding. Police have you by the balls in alot of respects. Only plus point is that i can do the speed awareness course locally and not get any points on my licence.

I own up if ive driven fast but im really unsure about this one. I know i wont be the only person done by this camera over the course of the weekend thou!

What road were you "snapped" on? Depending on the time you could back track to the traffic news of jams - at one stage on Friday it was taking 90 mins to do the last 10 miles in from Brighton

A27 just near Chichester, I would be the first to admit if i had been speeding and i have been caught once before 5 years ago and held my hands upto that i was going way too fast in a 30 but with this one it just doesn't seem right

Seems unlikely given the traffic on the A27

At what time were you on the A27 to get caught? I went this way home and up the A34/M6 to Holyhead, but we did leave at 5.00 am!

Ticket says 11:50

I remember texting my brother at 11:59 saying "we are at Goodwood but been waiting ages to park up". Goodwood isnt far from where the photo was taken but we waited ages to get parked up. I guess their camera could have slightly the wrong time on it thou.

I cant contest it because its just too much hassle, if my licence was at risk then fair enough but a speed awareness course and £85 isnt the end of the world. Frustrating one thou. Especially as doing abit of reading these speeding guns are far far far from accurate, they should be banned. Was reading about a motor cyclist who got clocked doing 107mph when he was barely overtaking a HGV and the speed gun operator was all over the place lens was shaking everywhere. It got overturned in the end.
