EVENT: Le Mans 2005, who, where, how
So ladies, gentlemen, scholars and loons - if you hadn't noticed a few of us went to Le Mans for the 24hr race this year, and we had such a good time.............we're going to do it again 
I think the date is the 11th/12th June 2005, which I'll confirm as soon as I know
Also, if you weren't in this years group, you may have a few questions

Questions are :
Which campsite do you want to stay in?
Beausejour - the one were in this year (I quite liked it as you could sleep quite well in the eve)
Other in-track campsite - closer to the village, and start finish straight, but a wee bit louder
Swanky off-track campsite about 10km away, more expensive and you have to drive, but less queing for showers
Ferry and route?
Dover - Calais - For 2004 we met up on the Wed eve in Calais, had a few beers and stayed at the Ibis hotel for about

Need you ask - count me in.
Also, as it's likely I won't have the company transport next year, I'll be up for intercontinental truck driving duties.
Ferry - Portsmouth - LeHavre would be best, but depends on cost.
Campsite - view of the track would be good, esp. if we go with the plan to take a Transit with roof boards, but beausejour was fine and close to Speed Chills.
Pool is essential.

Portsmouth - Caen is the shortest route... get there early enough, get to see some of the qualifying...
Was in disucussion with a group on Monday this week.. plan to take a motorhome.. in conjunction with the Lambo, 360, etc etc that went this year... they were in Houx - comes with proper showers, cafe and electricity
I liked Beausjour. Bit far to walk back pissed though!
Emailed ACO last week asking for group discounts including Grandstands...

I vote for Beausejour if Speed Chills are back again next year, hopefully bigger and better than this year.
