Plus you've also driven back from the Ring on the wrong road, eh Richard? hehehe

Thanks for convoying with us, though - nice of you to go out of your way for us! : )

So what's a reasonable time from Calais to the 'ring. I'll be getting off the train about 8:30pm on Thursday night. hoping for a fairly smooth journey at that time of night.

IIRC my TomTom Go says its about 3 1/2 hours, so you're looking at a fairly late arrival at the Berghotel. You may be better stopping off at Liege and using one of the cheap Premiere Class/Campenile style hotels near the motorway. We've used both and they're adequate for the job - plus (if booked in advance) you can check in any time of the night.

Or, SBC, the LSB and me (sounds like a book title) can keep Frank and Thomas serving us beer and schnapps until the early hours so you can check in...

NOt so much a boot title than a description of driver aids

I'll be coming straight through as Frank is already booked, so if you'd be so kind as to keep them awake, it'd be much appreciated. Should be able to fly along the Autobahn at that time of night.

Anyway, ring doesn't open until 11 on the Friday, so Thursday night is ideal drinking night.

Ok, who'se pissed about with my information? It won't accept changing my interior colour back to red - and revert back to brown each time.

Now, I'm never had a proper moment in my car nor have driven it nude so can categorically say that my car's leather has never been brown!

What's going on, eh?
