Good to hear the kids are welcome.
Ben,I have tried the ply with alcohol trick, but mine thinks it's disgusting.
Obviously the milkman must have been busy that year as I can't see where she could have got that trait from.
I finally found a use for foglights yesterday. They provide perfect support mounts for bullet cameras (on an NSX anyway).
The other possible use is to have some lights on without using the air-brakes
Fitted the camera, got a 60Gb Archos AV500 digital video recorder and am now waiting for a "travel kit" to allow it to stream the pictures on in MP4 format.
We will have at least one laptop with us as well

This could get interesting, I reckon!
I'd better warn the restaurant accordingly - I dunno if the German people are ready for a dragged-up budgie! Thomas might be, though...
But in answer to your question, Ian, its pretty much our custom to have a meal (Saturday is best) at that restaurant - top food, not overly cheap, top food, serves beer, top food um and of course bacon soup.
Usually, most people are too knackered and hyped up at the end of the first day to out, so we eat at the hotel - a pretty good selection and pretty nice grub. Equally, the last night is often the pseudo-piss up at the hotel, allowing everyone to drink.
The only disadvantage of the Wilden Schwein is that its a 10 minute drive down the mountain into the village of Adenau. So quite a few people will have to drive. On the plus side, its a bloody great drive back up the hill, including a nice hairpin to kick the arse out on.
