I still piss myself laughing when I watch how interestingly edited together his footage is.
I think there's one point where he says he's near the end, then shows the Karussel. Bits on Schwedenkreuz that lead directly to Hohe Acht, or the Wipperman complex into the Fuchsruhe. Nicely done chaps!
IMHO the track is wonderful enough as it is - it doesn't need chopping together in a different order to look more arty farty. Pah.
Anyhoo, I've fitted my stealth bumpercam this weekend - cheers Sarge for doing all the work while I made helpful suggestions. I now have a 1cm hole in the bottom corner of my numberplate surround, containing the lens of a small wireless camera. Very neat and low profile.

I'm gonna make a reservation for us at the Wilden Schwein (mmmm bacon soup) - can I assume that everyone down as a definate will come along to the meal?
I'm sure they can make you another cauliflower cheese, Lloyd!

My bar bill came to more than the cost of the hotel room last time :-)

reading Clarkson's article in last months TG.. on how the program is pulled together.. sounds like they are very stressed in the editing suite..
for every day of Clarkson driving.. they need 3 days of additional filming for all the outside/tracking shots (hence why they cleverly film it so you can never see clarkson at the wheel)..
so hours and hours of tape to edit..
and YES to the Wilden Schwein..
