Hmmm, should fire up up GT4. I was having problems remembering the track between Karousel and Mini Karousel. My aim is not to be "lost" by the end of the weekend. Getting excited now...
Hey Ruckus - Where's our DVD

I can't afford a play station so I've been watching the video of Ben's lap that he did in his Saxo. It's the lap he drove at a nice leisurely pace so it's easier to see the correct lines etc.

they are as cheap as chips.. but I am the same as you, seems like a waste of money when we can watch ben..
I still don't see how this gan-san chappy got his prototype S2000 around in 8:15.. and he did not look like he was really trying at all..
every second off your lap time is exponentially more difficult to achieve..
do you have the elise video with the telemetry overlay on it..?

Darn, if only I got commission for each time someone watches a lap of mine!
Seriously, if it helps people learn the track and therefore enjoy themselves more (while being safer to themselves and others), I'm more than happy for anyone to watch 'em.
SBC is right - my Saxo laps are easier to see the proper line as the camera was on a fixed mount between the seats, rather than wobbly handycam type footage. Much slower though!
Real shame that we're unlikely to see the DVD before the next trip (if ever?!?!?). C'mon Ruckus - either do the bizz or send someone the tapes PLEASE!!!!!

I didn't mean those videos. Maybe you should take a copy for Thomas, now that he can't have the real thing.

Or find someone who's willing to do the job and WILL ACTUALLY DO IT.
If someone has a laptop and sufficient hard-drive space, we should be able to hook the cameras up to it and copy the pics across. Remembering of course that all pictures and video footage is verboten and could see us banned from the Ring.
Hence me trying to fit my stealth camera (a la Ruckus) this coming weekend
SBC - you're only jealous that I recorded over OUR videos after I met E. Thomas will have you (!) firmly in his sights now, Bananaboy!

Ben, having seen what Ming the Merciless does with his sausage I think Thomas's attention will be elsewhere.
Then again there are a few virgin rings - sorry 'ring virgins that he'll be delighted to meet, eh Budgie
