chilled.. sorry I missed you by one day..but will hopefully meet in Easter..
did 7 laps today - and stupidly have 1lap left on the ticket.. but looked like rain so called it a day whilst we were still in one piece.. perhaps I should go back to cash my lap
hoping that the photographers dotted around the circuit managed to snap some decent shots..

A wet lap at the ring is a very interesting experience. I couldn't believe how slippery it was. I went out in the dry and after Hatzenbach (sp?) I could hardly see where I was going. But it's great for teaching you the right lines and keeping you slow.

Here is part of an e-mail I got off J.H. Hubbers, who frequents the Ring taking pics like this.
Thought it might be something to think about when we go next year.
Something you might want to keep in mind for next year is that I also
do assignments together with a photographer-mate of mine. You browse a
selection of samples of our work to give us an idea what type of shot
you like, we meet at the Ring and do a lap during which you point out
what your favourite bends are, and we make sure that we get good
shots. At the end of the day (or weekend, depending on how long you're
there) we show you the pictures on a laptop, and you tell us which of
them you want.
This is of course a little more expensive, but you'd be certain to get
some good shots. See
http://jvc.pingus.be/fotos/TF_2005_0...ley/index.html for an
example.
We usually do these things for individuals, but we can probably work
something out for a group of cars too.
Cheers,
JW
