Mine is now sorted so well done Derek Warwick Honda!
My best description is a metallic rubbing, clicking, grinding noise that is more noticeable when decelerating. Easy to fix for the grease monkeys, too.
To his credit, the service manager was a little humble that it was EXACTLY what I suggested that it might be... hehehe.
'Grale is fine and running at a steady 260bhp+ with 345 ft lbs of torque. Oh shit!
Tim - yes, have your email thx

Those links made me chuckle so I thought I'd throw in a few.

and if I called our pals over the pond one of these http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=bell+e...G=Search+Images would they know what we meant? - some of the piccies that go with this are quite funny, especially the gravestone
Sorry for this completely off topic frivolity but it helps pass the time. We really are nearly there!

and you blamed me and SBC for the shite we posted? tsk, tsk ; )
yep, 2.5 working days to go now. car all fixed - just needs a good wash - which is pretty pointless considering the 550 mile journey to the Ring.
Haven't got my bumpercam functioning yet - but Trumpcards will be lending me his Archos minicam which can be attached underneath the passenger sunvisor.
Even the missus is excited now - trying to get her to drive a lap on the PS2 just so its not completely unknown to her...

HOwdy all, been flat out last week sorting missions before the trip ! All sorted, car running fine, Only b@gger is I don't have a spare wheel, but I will have a spare tyre so better than nought, oow plus a bottle of the stuff that fills the tyre to get you home ..... errrm 650 miles ?
I will pack the projector, but I don't have a PS2 anymore so if someone wants to bring one of those? Lets all prey to the great Aten, the Sun God , as he will bring us good weather
See you all next week, Oh and for those who got lost last year, go and get a tomtom, life is too short to be lost and it removes one major stress, ie heading in wrong direction to destination.

Nice one, Sarge.
I'm sure one of the solo travellers would have the room for a PS2 - I've barely got room for myself and the LSB!
Spreadsheet has been emailed to all those who provided email addys to me. Anyone who hasn't got it and wants it (ooer), pm me your email and I'll send it to you. As mentioned, I'll bring a few spares with me, too.
Ooooh the excitement!!!

So what's the spreadsheet?
Checked out my front pads today and I've decided they'll probably last, but then I spent hours cleaning the front wheels whilst I had them off. I'm sure I've forgotten something important.

The spreadsheet has everyone's S2K name, real name, mobile number, car make and colour, a piccy and the emergency contact numbers. Well, everyone who gave me their details, that is.
I *think* I might have mentioned it once or twice before! ; )
