Just discovered I need new rears before next weekend. I've got about .5mm before the wear indicators. Still plenty of tread on the fronts though.
how can you just discover?

OK I kind of knew, as I have been keeping an eye on them, but BMVI did for them finally. It's also odd as from new, I had to replace both the fronts and the rears at 10000 miles, whereas there's tons of tread on the fronts, but the rears are worn.

I think it's perhaps odd the first situation you had.. normally the rear goes first..

with road driving.. I used 2.5 rears to 1 front change..

however.. if you are doing a lot of track driving.. I am sure anything is possible..

Try owning an NSX. It's the first car I have seen that can wear out its tyres sat on the drive

From almost new to 2.5 - 3mm in 2500 miles

Krazik, I have sent you a begging PM re your forthcoming trip across the pond.

Replied to the PM.

Regarding CGLocks:

We've been pressuring CG Lock to get us more inventory before I leave but unfortunately they can't as they don't have all the packaging and documention done in time. We offered to copy the materials we already have for you guys and he said he can't do it for liabilty reasons.

I'm bringing 1 used CG lock for me and 1 new one that I'll trade to someone to wants to let me take a lap in their s2k or just sell to one of you who wants it.

Um, I don't quite know how to tell you Rich, but it's not meant to cover your arse.

Unless maybe it's a safety device for keeping Thomas at bay in which case I'll have two just to be sure.

Still no sign of my cylinder head.
