Got my cg-lock and fitted it yesterday. Took 5 minutes and my fiancee figured it out before me, hmmm. But once you realise where the first bit goes it's a doddle.

My advice: Buy one, its worth it, you just feel a lot more secure and planted in the car.

Spent Saturady morning cleaning the car all ready for the ring on my return - sods law is that it will be filthy by then adn I know I wont have time to clean it again before I set off. So I'll see yoiu all with a slightly dirty car.

good to hear the lock works..

and don't worry.. by the time everybody has got to the ring.. the rest of the cars will be pretty dirty

mine got a spring clean today.. as I don't expect to drive it now more than a few miles before we finally set off..

not great at doing all that waxing story, I soon get bored.

Wax? What's that? Is that something that would take away valuable time.

It sounds great in theory, but sounds too much like effort. And I don't have a hose.
