Can't you just use an appropriate bit of rope?

Be aware that harnesses are designed for race seats, not normal road seats!

The point is that it almost replicates a harness without the cost or awkwardness of a harness.

Its purely a metal clip that locks the lap belt in place. Nothing more. : )

No need for this for those guys who's belt is already strapped to the max

@ Krazik: I'll be there with the street-S for sure.
(Maybe letting you drive for a lap but no promess yet).
Let us know what you find so we can check if they are cheaper if ordered locally.

Guys, take me off the list. I'm an impatient bastard and I needed the security of knowing that I would absolutely have them for the Ring -

So I've bought two of them from Graham (top lad ) at CG locks for

dave.. perfect, so you will have already done the 5 minute fitting job and will be a dab hand at showing us how it's done..

I always find those 5minute things become much longer..

probably should read the instructions

I'll be away from Sunday and wont be back till late evening on the 13th. But provided it's not raining I will have a go at fitting it when I wait for the ferry. hmmm

The plus side is that if I achieve it then anyone can do it. Can't wait to try them out....at the Ring! I hope they are as good as they sound and the reviews.
Can't wait for the Ring!

YES, we ARE nearly there yet.

I should add that I don't show up till the afternoon of the 15th. So most of you will have driven for 1-2 days already w/o it.
