I always gave schwedenkreuz plenty of respect and was always on the over cautious side. I get to 130mph (my max) and then on the hill ease off the throttle and squeeze the brakes having done all my braking before the left hand, the bump and the surface change and never accellerate too hard there.

I know that I could make up some extra seconds if I tried otherwise but who cares, so I think I will still stick to my original strategy this year as well.

Lets face it, the lap is quicker if you finish it with you driving, not with the car sat on the back of a low loader...

of all the difficult corners this has probably less impact on a lap time.. as the straight before the next corner is almost nothing.. you anyway need to scrub quite a bit of speed..

but agree - I won't be testing the limits.. safe better than sorry

I tried to clean my car this weekend. Left it out from Saturday driving from the inlaws, then it just persisted down the whole of Sunday.
I WILL get the Maguires wax over the whole car before the ring trip.
It's only on bonnet and hardtop at the mo - the difference is noticable!

And must get the 18k service done on mine too...

Fellas - I've sort of lost track of this one.

Are you all booked for the weekend, and err is there room for any more?

Always room for more. And Thomas can be very accomodating at the hotel. Get yourself a ferry/train whatever, book a hotel and you're in. Go on, you know you need to. I'm travelling down from Leeds on the Thursday getting a chunnel about 6:30pm if you want to convoy. Or if you like longer ferries, GTFCTIM is going Hull-Zeebrugge.
