Is your meeting place Chorleywood Common (or nearby)? My brother's parents-in-law live in Heronsgate and that scene looked vaguely familiar ...

I would like to congratulate the 6 cars which finished (I'm including Haroon but he never did the mini Fish Hill but stayed on the M40) - I think I drove around 283 miles. I felt okay when I was driving but felt rather tired when I got home. It was lovely driving in the cool of the morning and seeing the big red sun appear over the horizon - did anyone get a photo of it?

Nice photos MQ - did you take any later in the day?

It is worth getting up early to avoid the muppets as proved by the busy roads in the Cotswolds. Maybe next year we should head straight for the Cotswolds? Just a thought..... Not sure that I want to lead though - I don't think I'm very good at it.

Great drive in parts. Too many sunday drivers out driving at the limit in the cotswolds, but I guess it was sunday!!

Really nice to make MQ's acquantance properly! Really good drive back on B4009 with Paul and Sam. That was a nice finish to a very long morning.

I am going to bed after England have stuffed Germany. Losing 1-2 at the moment, (should be 2-2) so work still to do.
If you're waiting for that result, you could be in for a long night

Great drive today, as Ash says, a few too many Sunday Drivers later on, but great none the less. Big thanks to Simon and Suzy for orgainising and leading us, and to everyone else for coming out to play and makng a great day out.

A great drive home with Ash too, the B4009 is a lovely road.

Sam took a ton of photos (mostly of my boot lid ), we'll post them up when we've sorted them out.

Just got home, having spent the afternoon at my parents'.

Really, really tired.

Thanks to all for coming, it wouldn't be the same without you

Great weather, some great roads, some not so great, so sorry about those.

Thank goodness for SatNav, which enabled us to keep together, or at least make each destination. It really is an essential on meets in the busy South East.

Apologies for the Shell confusion at Burford, I misread the Shell website!

Will start thinking about next year's route, and try to avoid the town centres!

great run this morning, I really enjoyed it, it's been too long since I've managed to get on a run.

Count me in for the next few early Sunday mornings, rowing season almost over so my weekends are my own again.

Looking forward to Sam's pictures besdie the boot lid and the opposite lane there may be a few with me in the shot.
