I think he said it is103db at 6000rpm, and Rick and others have warned you that you will be too loud with an invidia at a track, you will be black flagged. At the drift day however I would have thought not so bad because you won't be revving so high, but I think you will be on thin ice to be honest - maybe put the invidia on after the day?

I got it for the tunnel run ( before the drift day ) Its going on tonight, and i have 5 track days comming up, i will find a way to quiet it down if the bungs dont cut it.

The comparison's on you tube show it JUST on 103 at 6k.

If its 103 at 6000, thats the test they do to pass, so if i get black flagged at 9k when they pull me off for another check, i will pass :S
replace CAT with scilencer ?

I dunno, but there will be a way, and ill find it

Its 105db at 2/3 revs so that should be about 6k, it's measured static from 1 metre away; if it's the same as normal trackday rules then they won't do any further testing once you are on track unless it happens to sound like a Harrier landing when you are out there but they are quite strict on the static reading as it has to comply with local planning regs etc so best keep well below if possible!

Either way, 105 is about as good as it gets for trackday use so you'll want to find a solution that you can rely on as reading do vary from day to day even on the same car

Yeah i will get it down the garage and get it tested at 3/6/9 WOT idle

for inserest if nothign else, if it hits over 103 i will look at sounde reduction.

I really cant see it being over 105, thats nearly window breaking.

Harrier landing, you would not even notice next to this thing...

This does look good.

If I was sure I had my car back by this date, I'd be booked on in a flash.

I think this is a great idea and well worth doing.

Very slippy. I've got a pair of barely legal rears that I'll probably use to finish them off. Hope it stays dry
